OSAF offers financial assistance to the bright/needy students of FAST-NU on need cum merit basis. The amount of financial assistance is determined every semester based on the need of applicant. To accommodate maximum applicants, OSAF offers full, half, quarter or any other percentage of the tuition fee to the selected applicants.

The OSAF Financial Assistance (OFA) Program was started by graduates of batch '96 but with continued effort, now more than 200 Alumni are contributing to this from across Pakistan, USA, Canada, UK, Finland, Germany and Australia.

Alumni are strongly encouraged to come and see the OFA process first hand and be a part of interview panel.

How to Contribute

If you want to contribute personally, please contact the following people via email or send your checks to their specified address and email at osaf.fa@gmail.com. If you work in a software company and one or more FAST graduates also work there, it is likely that one OSAF representative is already there at your workplace. You can contact him and hand your contribution to him monthly. If not, please drop us a mail and we will forward you the details on how to contribute.

Guidelines for OSAF Financial Assistance Application

  1. Completely fill the application form and email at osaf.fa@gmail.com with your roll number in the subject. Provide all information, any incomplete form or containing false information won’t be accepted.
  2. Provide your Permanent address. In case of outsider provide both temporary and permanent address.
  3. Educational History
    a. Fresh candidates should provide their Metric/O-level, FSC/A-Level, BA/BSC and MA/MSC grades with major courses names.
    b. Existing students should mention each semester GPA, SGPA and course name they got A+/A/F.
    c. Final year/MS students should send their CV as well explaining their final year project and area of expertise.
  4. All candidates must provide correct information about their outstanding dues for each semester, when and how much they deposited. Applicant should provide correct figures about any assistance they are getting from FAST-NU financial load/aid, INFAQ Scholarship, MOST Scholarship, OSAF Financial Assistance or any other private scholarship.
  5. Provide all sources of income, including parent’s salary, monthly interest on fixed deposit, rent of home/shop or any asset like prize bonds, shares, agriculture land or domestic/commercial property you have..
  6. Fill in your expenses details, general living expenses include daily living food, utility bills and home rent if you living on rent, Provide information about dependent (Brother/Sisters) education expenses and any other expenses your parents have to pay each month.
  7. Provide any other information that can be useful in making our decision about your self in 2-3 lines.
  8. Applicant must bring original and one photocopy of their all relevant documents e.g. proof of your income resources (salary slips and fixed assets, .…), Educational Certificates (Metric, FSC, latest Transcript, .…) and FAST payment receipts at point of interview.
  9. Financial Assistance Recipients are required to return the loan through monthly installments (Rs.3000 or 10% of gross salary, whichever is greater) within 4 years of their graduation.

Interview date and time will be emailed to RollNo@lhr.nu.edu.pk; NO email will be sent on personal email address. So make sure you keep checking your emails at college address.
